They're fingers, with those weird short nails that are a lot of fun to draw.

I use, whatsitcalled, Corel Painter? Not that it amounts to much since I just use the equivalent of the Flat Round brush and paint the same way I do in Photoshop. But sometimes you need a change, and sometimes that means doing the exact same thing in a slightly different location.

you're better than most artists in the open category ....best of luck (nice grass textures btw)

I was really really reluctant how should I tag my drawing, and I got 2 advises from 2 artists, and both of them told me that's it's better to start in the beginner category.

but next time -if there is next time- I will participate in the open one! :)
